Being a Pastor is one of the toughest jobs in the world…but also one of the most rewarding.  It can be very lonely, frustrating, challenging, as well as invigorating, encouraging, and motivational.  It all depends on your perspective…and having God’s perspective.

Preaching is something we preachers do regularly.  It is also something we should do for the glory of God, for the proclamation of the Gospel, and to the best of our ability – all the while dependent on the Holy Spirit.

Welcome to my new blog!  I hope it will be a source of encouragement, inspiration, and equipping for pastors and on-mission Christians.

I have been a Christian, husband, and father for over 30 years.  I have served as a pastor or associate pastor of several churches of various sizes from 180 – 5000+ in attendance.  I have also had the privilege of serving dozens of churches as an Associational Missionary of four associations for over seven years.  I have served as Director of Ministries of Georgia Baptist’s newest Association, the Southside Baptist Network in McDonough, GA, since March 1, 2013.
