Church worship services are in transition to better connect with people in their congregation and in their community; however many churches are not aware of the issues involved. The articles below help us to understand the times and to navigate the changes to bring glory to God and to help our churches reach and disciple more people.
On a similar vein, if you have not registered for the Southside Summit, a major one-day conference focused this year on Church Revitalization, I urge you to do so. You'll find helpful breakout sessions on revitalizing worship services among many other needed topics. The conference is coming up Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Eagle’s Landing FBC, McDonough. If you register by Feb. 17, your cost is only $39. The cost goes up to $49 after that. If you can only attend the night session, it is still worth your time and costs only $10. This year features Thom Rainer, Kevin Ezell, Larry Wynn, Jason Cooper, plus many breakout leaders like Tim Dowdy, Billy Lord and Micah Fries.
