I love pastors! I have pastored two churches myself, and I know how difficult it can be. I seek to serve and minister to pastors and to resource them any way I can in my role as an Associational Missionary, in addition to this blog.
This week the focus is on helps for pastors in various areas. In terms of effectiveness, I am not surprised that the most consistent discipline of effective pastors is daily Bible reading.
A study shocked me some time ago that found 72% of all pastors do not spend as much as 15 minutes a day in prayer and Bible reading. How tragic for them and for their flock!
I hope the articles this week will be useful to pastors, ministers, and lay leaders, but especially to pastors.
