Church Revitalization has become a rallying cry in recent years since statistics show 80-90% of churches are plateaued or declining. Church Planting is needed, but it is critical that we also address the revitalization of declining churches because there are so many and because there is so much at stake for the kingdom.
In addition to reading these blog articles, let me encourage you to pray for, plan to attend, and help us promote the Southside Summit on Church Revitalization, Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015. This is a major one-day conference sponsored by the Southside Baptist Network, hosted by Eagle’s Landing FBC, McDonough, south of Atlanta. We are honored that some top names in revitalization such as Thom Rainer, Kevin Ezell, Larry Wynn, Jason Cooper, John Mark Clifton, Micah Fries, Rick Howerton, and others, have agreed to be presenters. There will be breakouts helpful for pastors, staff, deacons, small group leaders, music, youth, children’s workers and more! The cost is only $29 per person if you register by Jan. 8, 2015 (includes a Chick-fil-A lunch).
