Associations should be committed to prayer just like individuals and churches. I hope you will plan to hear from AMSs Dr. John Franklin, Dr. Tim Smith, and Dr. Bob Lowman discuss “Building a Culture of Prayer in an Association” on August 31. These men of prayer are advocates of prayer in their associations, but they do so in different ways.
Tim S. Smith serves the Floyd County Baptist Association in Rome, Georgia. Prior to this position, he served Georgia Baptists for over 20 years in various roles such as Discipleship and Bible Studies Consultant/Specialist.
Bob Lowman has served the Metrolina Baptist Association, Charlotte, NC, for 17 years. He is active in SBC PrayerLink and just completed a three-year term on the SBCAL Executive Team, including serving as the Chairman in 2022-23.
The SBCAL August Webinar is free for SBCAL members; $25 for nonmembers. If you are not a member, and want to join SBCAL, go to www.sbcal.org/membership. If you are a member, and would like to register, go to https://www.sbcal.org/prayer
